WHAT YOU NEED:
Literally just citrus.
Any kind of citrus.
Oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, blood oranges, blah blah blah
How to make it:
Preheat your oven to about 200 degrees
Slice your fruit to be about 1/4” thick
Pat dry with paper towels to remove as much excess liquid as possible
Bake your fruits at a low temp, flipping every 30 mins
This is a multiple hour process. Do it on a day when you will be home for a while. Your house will smell amazing. During fall/christmas time, you can add cinnamon to enhance the smells
As you flip your fruits, watch to see if they seem to be fully dried out. Thicker pieces may take longer
How to USE:
These dried fruits are perfect as cocktail garnishes
You can also string them together during the holidays as decoration
They are perfect for a gift as well!
