D.G.M dirty gin martini

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Dry Vermouth

  • Olives + Brine (you can make blue cheese stuffed)

  • Gin (freezer gin)

  • Coupe/Martini Glass (frozen)

How to make it:

  • Many hours before consuming said martini, make sure to put your glasses and gin in the freezer.

  • When ready, pull, pour a splash of vermouth into each glass and swirl around

  • In a shaker with ice, add gin and olive brine (to your liking)

*** I prefer either Hendricks, for a more floral/cucumbery taste, or Tanqueray, for a more dry taste ***

  • Shake real well. Like real real well. Our goal to to get ice flakes okay. Shake. Shake. Shake. Hands frozen, fingertips stuck to the shaker.

  • Alas, strain your concoction into your glasses. Hopefully, we’ve gotten that shit cold enough that there are tiny frozen flakes on the top.

  • Top with olives and enjoy.

*** Variations of this to come. I’m thinking about pepperonchinis and just how filthy this can get. It’s also exciting the idea of creating my very own specialized bloody mary. Stay tuned. Thanksgiving is coming up… ***
